Systems Thinking Standards Institute and Journal of Systems Thinking Forge Strategic Partnership to Advance Global Systems Literacy
May 27, 2025 — The Systems Thinking Standards Institute (STSI) is proud to announce a strategic partnership with the Journal of Systems Thinking (JoST), the first and only open-access post-publication peer-reviewed (PPPR) journal dedicated to advancing systems thinking.
This collaboration unites STSI's mission to develop and disseminate the Global Systems Thinking Standard (STS®) with JoST's commitment to fostering scientific innovation and public understanding in the field. By aligning their efforts, STSI and JoST aim to elevate the discourse around systems thinking and make it more accessible to a global audience.
JoST's unique approach to scholarly publishing—emphasizing open access and post-publication peer review—complements STSI's dedication to inclusivity and transparency in developing systems thinking standards.
Through this partnership, STSI will contribute to JoST by providing insights from its Science Board and highlighting emerging trends and best practices in systems thinking. Conversely, JoST will serve as a platform for disseminating STSI's research findings, case studies, and updates on the Global Systems Thinking Standard.
This alliance represents a significant step toward creating a cohesive and collaborative systems thinking community, bridging the gap between theoretical research and practical application.
